SightMark SM25002 Triple Duty Compact Green Laser
My first impression of the Sight Mark SM25002 Triple Duty Compact Green Laser. As soon as I opened the box, I noticed a well designed package allowing the laser to be bounced around by shipping companies and still arrive in great shape. The body is constructed out of high grade aluminum with a rail mount allowing you to mount the laser on a Picatinny or Weaver rail in a few seconds.
The mounting screw and windage/elevation adjustments are easy to access and use a standard slot (-) screwdriver head. Sight Mark includes an Allen wrench with ends that are standard – and + screwdriver heads.
The CR2 battery is easy to install/replace as needed and you can open/close the battery cover using a screw driver or coin if you are out in the field. You can also use a screwdriver or coin to tighten or loosen the mounting screw if needed. The green laser beam is the standard Class IIIA, 5 watt, 532nm beam but at 25 feet in low light, it’s strong and bright. Daytime visibility is 150 feet, nighttime is 1,800 feet.
The laser has a steady on and pulse modes and is activated by pressing either of the ambidextrous rubber coated on/off buttons. The buttons have 21 small raised dots making them easy to find which is a nice feature. To activate the laser in steady mode press either button once. Press again for pulse and press again to turn off.
This laser handles a maximum recoil of 1,000Gs, allowing you to mount the SightMark SM25002 on rifles and shotguns.
SightMark includes a remote pressure switch that functions the same as the ambidextrous on/off buttons. You press the pressure pad once to activate, press again to switch to pulse and press again to turn off. The remote switch is not huge in size, and stretches from 16” to 28” in length. It’s easily attached or removed from the laser using the rubber protected input jack.
Size is 2.5” L x 1.46” W x 1.38 H. Weight is 6.2 oz. Run time in pulse mode is 15 hours.
Conclusion. The SightMark SM25002 Triple Duty Compact Green Laser is a great and well built laser that can take a beating. It’s easy to mount and adjust, comes with a remote pressure switch, has steady on and pulse modes and includes a 3 year warranty. Fits most hand guns (see handgun compatibility chart) rifles and shotguns with an accessory rail.

Hi Nick. The manufacturer does not say but from its construction, and my experience with super water resistant flashlights, it looks like it has no problem in wet environments. It’s extremely well built and I suspect can take a beating in wet or dry environments. Hope this helps answer your question, Wes
