The Nitecore MT1C is is a great multipurpose flashlight, is inexpensive to operate, has 4 illuminations modes using a CREE XP-G LED, and throws a beam 377 feet using just 1 CR123A battery!
Just like the more expensive Nitecore flashlights, this light is constructed from aircraft grade aluminum, is anodized using a HAIII military grade coating, incorporates a ultra-clear mineral glass with anti-reflective lens, and includes a two-way clip. The flashlight body is smooth, allowing easy placement or withdrawal from a pocket.
The 2 preset illumination modes of the flashlight are customizable but offer multiple combinations. Keep the flashlight head fully tightened to use the maximum 280 lumens (Turbo mode). This mode allows you half press the switch for momentary on or full press for constant on.
Loosen the flashlight head about one-half turn to access the user mode. This mode allows you to switch between the 4 modes. This memory mode turns the light back on using the mode it was turned off in.
The tail cap can be turned into a “lock out” position preventing accidental light activation when carried in pockets, packs, hand bags, etc.
