The Viridian C5L-R 5-mode red laser plus a 4-mode flashlight in a compact, super tough package makes this an incredible unit. Basically, it’s the red dot laser version of the Viridian C5L green dot laser. It comes with 3 sets or mounting rails allowing it to fit compact pistols like the S&W M&P and the XD and up to any other mid to full sized pistol, rifle, shotgun, or anything else with a Picatinny rail.
The red laser beam is visible up to 75 feet in broad daylight and up to one mile at night. The laser can be programmed for steady on or 1 of 4 pulse modes. The flashlight can be programmed for steady mode or 3 strobe modes. When strobe mode is on, the lumen output increases from 100 to 140 lumens.
The flashlight uses a new design where the beam is more of a horizontal rectangle, producing an expanded view to show more of the area with no wasted light on the ceiling and floor.
To top it off, you can program the Viridian C5L-R to use both the laser and flashlight in any of the modes using the ambidextrous on/off switches.
This laser is the Enhanced Combat Readiness (ECR) version and can be used with the Viridian TACLOC holster that activates the laser when you draw your gun. Powered by one CR2 battery, the laser lasts 20+ hours constant, 35 hours strobe, and 75 minutes laser and flashlight.
