This is a 125 lumen, rail mounted weapon light from one of the premier manufacturers of home/self defense tactical lights. The TLR-3 has an integrated rail clamp designed to rapidly attach/detach from any MIL-STD-1913 (Picatinny) rail and securely fits a broad range of weapons using key kit provided (see below). The activation paddle located on the back of the unit is ambidextrous with momentary and continuous capability.
The case body is made from impact resistant nylon polymer. The face cap uses 6000 series machined aircraft aluminum with anodized finish.
