Belt Holsters – The Most Popular Carry Option
When you hear the word holster chances are you immediately imagine the stereotypical holster attached to someone’s hip. Now known generically as belt holsters, they come in limitless styles. And thus have proven to be the most popular way to carry a hand gun for decades. They can be used for open or concealed carry and are as practical and convenient as any holsters around.
At Gunner Security we carry a variety of belt holsters. Holsters for nearly any sized hand gun are available in leather or cordura nylon. Additionally, the mechanisms used to attach the holster to the belt range from built in belt loops to snaps and steel spring clips. And belt holsters can be very weapon specific as with our Driving Leather Holster. Or they can be more generic as with some of our nylon holsters. Many of these also have the advantage of accommodating multiple weapons.
No longer is the belt holster just for the strong side hip of the wearer. Today belt holster designs include styles that can be worn anywhere around the waist in order to suit anyone’s needs.
